An LGBT group that I'm a part of, the Emerald Coast Pride Organization, has decided we're going to do Relay for Life this year. If you don't know what that is, go to www.relayforlife.org for more details. Essentially, it's a fundraiser for cancer research. I've decided that, as opposed to begging people to buy prints from me for my own personal profit, I would do something GOOD with my artwork. So I went to my first class of Digital Photography today and... Shit. He said it's required for us to have a digital SLR camera. Mine's point-and-shoot. I have no job and my family's financial situation is shit. I cannot afford to drop the class because it's too late to sign up for anything else and I NEED to have a bunch of easy A classes this semester to bring up my GPA, or else it will drop so low that I'll lose my scholarship and will have to take out a loan for next year. ]= I knew I should have applied for a grant.
